Watchin' "Last Comic standing" just now..they had an 05 Abyss GT commercial. The commercial was pretty hot, and from the shot they showed of the front, the thing looked AWESOME. I'm not gonna discount the 03-04's...but I think the 05's are lookin' better all the time..

They've been running a 'stealth' Vibe commercial in central Indiana. I'm paraphrasing, because I can't type or write fast enough when the commercial comes on to get the full transcript, but here goes:A man is talking to a black couple. "Variable Valve Timing... high performance... " yada-yada-yadaObviously it's a reference to the VVT-i/VVTL-i engines available to Pontiac buyers ONLY in the Vibe. Then another man approches the three of them and asks the couple if he can help them. "No, we're already being helped by this man" they reply. The (real) salesman says, "He doesn't work here!"And the voice-over goes on about a great financing or leasing deal on a Grand Am!No actual mention of the Vibe models, features, or financing. What the h-e-l-l is GM thinking???

I saw one of them, it was nightime in the commercial, good idea by the producers of that to shadow the front grill as much as possible. The Vibe was also abyss, so that even further covered up the front by having no color contrast. Nice job Pontiac! I'm just messin'.

It had nice all-around shots of the '05 Vibe in Abyss, including a front-end shot. It was night-time and while they were driving there appeared to have a similated "sound equalizer" graphic going down the road as the Vibe passed using the lights from the rooms in the passing buildings. It was pretty cool. Near the end, "The New Vibe" appeared in the upper-left corner of the screen.

The commercial is hot but not the fron end. I went to my local dealer and looked at 2 in the back of the lot. No thanks. If I buy another It will be a used 03,04 GT or a New Matrix XRS

I saw the new commercial and I don't know if they were trying to hide the car or not. It's at night and the Vibe is black, but I still think it's a pretty cool commercial. I just got to see an '05 in person and take a closer look at the newly designed front facia and I like it a lot more in person than I did in the pics. The look of the new Vibe front end is actually growing on me (how is that possible, cause I hated it in the pics posted earlier?). Oh well...

The only new one I've seen is the one where the guy and girl are in teh Vibe at night listening to music and the lights in the buildings are flashing on and off like an equalizer.Theres a fenced in lot where a dealership stores it's cars and there are a ton of Vibes in there. A couple 2005 I actually don't mind the front end. They look kind of sharp in person. I still like the 03-04 better just like everyone else though lol.

I personally figured out why I don't mind the 05 front-end as much. Because i've had the bra on my 03 too long! It gives it the same kinda "flat" shape... I haven't seen it in person to scrutinize it though.

Yeah, I agree with you, Toasted. The new ad isn't nearly as good a sell as the 2004 ad. GM should be pushing the fact that this car can store/haul more than most small SUV's and beats most cars on gas mileage too. Not to mention that it's a pretty nice head-turner, too!

There's a local show on NBC in the NY area called "gimme the mike NY." it's sponsored by the vibe...interesting to see an 05 commercial followed immediately by an 04 commercial...http://www.wnbc.com/gimmethemike/index.html

I was interested in seeing some of the older Vibe commercials ... did a search on the internet, and found 2 sites that had a total of 10 complete commercials available for download, including the very first Vibe commercial shown during the SuperBowl 2002 (Drummer Girl) of a guy playing an electric guitar using the 115v adaptor. The sites are:http://www.arthodge.com/listeningroom/v ... /breaking/
