Well for those of you who have been around for awhile might remember I had made some comments as to trading in my 2002 Silverado Extended cab for a 2003 Silverado SS. The deal never went the way I wanted and the dealer was rather stingy on my trade in. Well that was 4 monthes ago. I have since been leaning towards the new Saab 9x2. Out of the blue today I get a call from the same dealer saying he has yet another 2003 brand new SS and is willing to take another 4000 dollars off of it bringing it down to 28000! I'm not sure what to do though, he's supposed to call me back with some numbers. HELP!!!

I would rather have the Saab, but that's because I like nothing more than an AWD turboed car.

If it were me, I would hold out for the 2 door 400 HP 6 speed Silverado SS that is supposed to be floating here soon.Or just save some cash and buy a 92 Syclone......talk about a sleeper when you dust off a new Lightning or SRT-10 Ram.....

Man, the Syclone! That thing would SCREAM! 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, wasn't it? Really liked that truck and the original Chevy 454 SS. Dad's friend bought one new back in '90. I think he still has it sitting in his garage, driven very very rarely.

Syclone specs are:4.3L Turbo and intercooled V64Speed Auto transmissionFull time AWD 35/65 split280HP 360 ft/lbs 0-60 4.6 sec1/4 mile 13.4@103 mph.I have wanted one of these since they came out in 91. And to add insult to injury, I found one on Ebay yesterday with no reserve with an hour left for $7100. Looked to be in good condition with a few scratches, but I just bought the vibe.......

my dad owned a syclone for 5 years, then he sold it when I was just about to turn 16. That *******.Anyhow, my neighbor ended up buying it, and I think I'm going to get it back from him one of these days. It was a special edition one because it was made up to be shipped over to the Mid-east, but wasn't sold over there, so it came back.
