A friend of mine told me he's going to Jacksonville to pick up 6 new 15" Mofo subs new in the box for $70 a piece. He's supposedly getting back early in the week, so we'll see if he was full of it or not. If not.. I think I could live with 3 Mofo's in my hatch

Out of curiosity, what will the box be like?

I think this box will fit in a Vibe and it holds 4 12's.This is just for kicks, I don't want to use up all of my hatch space. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...&rd=1

Well, I currently have a 15" and 2 12" subs, so it shouldn't take too much hard thinking for a few more inches of sub . Anyhow, if I sell my old system I might make enough off that to have a custom 'glassed box made for the hatch.

Why would you go for 12s and 15s, that would underpower your 15 or overpower your 12s assuming that you have them on the same amp. That would also kill the sound of your bass because you would have 2 different types of bass contrasting. At least that is what I have always been told.

If you have a 15 and 2 12's hooked up to the same amp, that'd be one hell of an amp ;PI have seperate amps for my subs, and I like the differences in bass they give. The 12's provide basic bass, while the 15 provides those low hits. The only downside (IMO) to having a 15 and 2 12's is that the differences in bass make it difficult to tell when the other size sub is distorting, which can be harmful to your subwoofer.
