Syncronizer?

ok I have a delimma. I'm taking my car to the dealership on tuesday and i need to know what to tell them in tech terms.FYI, I have the GT (6speed) and yesterday the gears started grinding. It only happens when downshifting to second, and no other gears. Its fine when you shift through the gears going from stop(1st) to cruising (6th)... the only way you can down shift is if you set the shifter right on second gear and let it sit there for about 5 seconds and it will finally match and you can push it in with no grinding. any comments suggestions? I'm 1000 miles from the warranty going out.

my 2nd gear synchro's are garbage as well. It only grinds at really high rpm and i hit the limiter while im moving which i believe is at 8400!If i shift carefully though, i get used to it and it doesnt do it.

^^^^I doubt it because ive done it sooo many times....its not my fault though, because ive never really missed it, its just that i shift too fast and it wont go into gear and grinds at really high rpm. It just wont let me in unless i let the rpm's down. So instead, i shift slower but gas it between shifts and dump the clutch so my tires spin lol.

After the fix try something better. A good fluid might help now but show em the problem and then try some royal purple or motul after the fix.

just an update, They ordered parts today, I went to get my radar detector out of my car yesterday after hours and i had sometime in the shop by myself, so i took the liberty of looking at the engine bay of my car while they had it up on the lift and the tranny pulled... frive axles and everything pulled off... i honestly think that with the proper tools and equipment it could be really easy to set up a v6 and tranny swap... there is seriously sooo much room in the engine bay... I would like to look into engine/tranny combo's that might work... but i have no idea where to begin!

and most importantly it has the same 1zz engine as our cars(cept its mid mounted rear wheel drive).but it has a very tight engine bay. so if something fits there its a safe bet it will fit on other 1zz platforms.
