May be a stupid question, but it just occurred to me that, even though I didn't get M&T, I actually have a 6-speaker audio system in my 2004 Vibe. I thought 4-Speaker was standard.Did I get this upgrade because I also have an XM system?Not complaining...just curious.

Stupid question:Do you have a moonroof?If not, I have heard of cars coming with half the M&T package (VibeChick's first one was a prime example of the phenomenon).

I was under the impression the stock radio alone couldn't power 6 speakers, so if you have 6, you have the amp, and if you have the amp and the moonroof, then you have M&T.But that was what I was lead to believe...

Don't forget, Mike. The Nav system comes with 6 speakers, and it powers directly off the Nav unit.Though, I was under the same impression. I thought only M&T and Nav systems had six speakers.

sorry to rock the boat but i dont have an amp, i do have a moon roof and 6 speakers, i dident have the 6 disk changer, I swaped out my stock radio for a Premier 850 with no special hook ups or anything fancy..
