Hi everyone,I just picked up my 2004 Vibe last Thursday (I live just west of Toronto) and I have been reading this site for about 2 weeks now and just wanted to say 'thanks'. I've seen a few other posts like this but I thought it can never be said enough. This site/forum gave me SO much useful information when considering/buying/picking up my Vibe that my life was just that much easier and less stressful. I'm also impressed with the quality of people on this forum. I've only belonged to one other forum in the past (completely unrelated topic...) and the people there were very nice to begin with but things deteriorated after awhile.I look forward to being part of this group and hopefully I will be able to post a few things that may help the next buyer! That next buyer may be my wife, she's so impressed we're already planning on buying either a 2005 or 2006 (if they're still around!).oh ya, the dealer I bought mine from is also worth mentioning. I recently read some bad news about a dealership in the Mississauga area (where I live) and I had to breathe a sigh as I ended up going to the dealer in Burlington (Leggat) where I got great service, great sales staff, and probably the best experience i've ever had buying a car. We're allowed to mention dealership's names???Thanks for reading my intro post....read you all soon!!

Hi Atomb, welcome to GenVibe! You'll find there's a nice proportion of Canadian members on the list, many of whom are very active. Check out the Canada - Ontario and the Canada - AB, BC, SASK forums in particular to get to know the local folk. I'm sure you've already made good use of the search engine here to plumb for past nuggets of wisdom - you'd be amazed at the breadth of knowledge around here, so it's always worth mentioning the search feature again. We look forward to seeing much more of you!

wow! what a great community! Thanks for the welcome, and no I don't intend to be 'shy' and not post.A few responses:Yup, Toronto is great, I was born, grew up in and lived in the city for all by 5 years of my life (that's about 1/6 for you math wizards ) and moved to the west end about 1.5 years ago. (enjoyed living in Maryland for a couple of years to see the 'grass on the other side of the fence' sort of thing)Georgetown is literally up the road from where i live...great area. i have a friend that just bought a house up there!I'll get some pics up ASAP. do i need to link to them from another site or is there a way to attach a pic to my post?better yet, is there a page somewhere that will teach me how to use some of the features of the forum??Thanks again!

You'll definatly have to check into the Ontario section of this forum for local news. If your into Vibe Meets, there is the big MI one later this month, also an ontario one in July. And every second saturday of each month Matrix and Vibers meet up in Kitchener. I'm going this month I believe.
