The '05 Altima is a nice clean sharp sedan. Except for getting rid of the Vibe, I think you made a good decision. (kidding) -- gotta go to what you love and want to drive. Stop by when you get a chance and say Hi.

I saw the pics, read reviews, now it's about time for me to head down to South Bay Dodge and test drive the only R/T they have...if things work out well (*cough* financing *cough*), I may weasel my way of of my GT. Although, I must say they'll have to give me a GREAT trade-in price, and pay off my loan to even begin considering a new loan. What sells me on this particular V8 in today's skyrocketing gas prices? Dodge's Multiple-Displacement System...Quote »Available on Magnum RT's 5.7-liter Hemi® V8, the Multiple-Displacement System (MDS) is a pure stroke of genius. By switching from eight to four cylinders during cruising and light acceleration, MDS improves fuel economy from 5 to 20 percent depending on driving habits. drool...

i'd wait on that hemi, cause couple people i know say the valve springs are bad (poss recall) and the fuel line that crosses from one side to the other is coming off- still testing that one. NICE JOB DODGE!!! just what i want a fuel line that blows off or valve springs that don't do their job. I"LL KEEP MY MATRIX for now.

I've heard GM's DoD (displacement on demand) system is actually quite impressive...Heard rumors the next model or 2 models from now of the GTO will integrate DoD...

I'm new here, just got my Vibe last week. Just wanted to comment-many new engines designs have significant problems. The true test is if the manufacturer will stand behind them and fix it.

Excellent observation and welcome to the forums! I'd like to add that it will take at least a year or two of regular production for many of the bugs to be worked out of this new generation of engines.
