Port and polished header? This doesn't make any since. Why would you do this kind of work to a header? Where you talking about another part and said header? TB and intake manifold would really help out your low and mid RPM torque. Here's a link to take a look at.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=805A CAI would also be something you'll want to do since it will make the mod that much better.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=178

You could port match the exhaust manifold (header) and the actual head itself, this might help although experience has shown these to be pretty well matched. The intake itself is a non starter on the VVTi as its a piece of plastic so no work available there. You could polish the intake and exhaust chambers and take off some of the rough cutting and burrs from the post cast machining.Biggest gains are to be found on the head, take a look at the valve seats, these can stand a little rework.I'd leave the TB alone as there is nothing to be gained there, mostly due to the restrictive manifold. If your really serious and want to stay NA, I'd suggest going for throttle bodies, get rid of the plastic intake. You'll need to create some means of taking air and temp readings from the MAF but it shouldn't be too difficult.Cheers
