I would trade my Vibe in tomorrow if the Ion Redline didn't have that stupid center mounted IP

I saw this car at the Philly Auto Show (along with the Vue version also). They look VERY nice in person.

I guess I'd have to see it in person. It looks good except for the front end, IMHO. And I hate that stupid intrstrument panel as was mentioned earlier. But definately a step in the right direction for Saturn anyway. They've always made good cars, just not the prettiest. This is a definate improvement. Don't the taillights remind you of the Celica's? That struck me right away. And the overall shape reminds me of a Tiburon.

I agree to you,i don't like the interior;the speedometre in centre, and i don't like the rear dore, they call the suicide dore. But,the rest is a winner.

The center instrument panel is sort of cool, at least they are trying something different. Makes a lot of room for extra fuage pods.

Actually, the IP in the middle is to make it more economical to produce such cars for both right-hand drive and left-hand drive (Easier to convert between Japanese and American, for instance). I wouldn't want to have to glance to the middle every time I wanted to check my MPH/RPM or engine temp : However, the Ion redlines are quick little cars. They're even making a Saturn Vue Redline.

Steering wheel is too small. Test drive one, you'll see.
