Looks like it is going to be delayed some more. Once again we have been pushed out for something else, transcript as follows:Karel,Sorry to bother you again, but, is there any word on the ToyotaMatrix XRS short shifter yet?Jason The project has been slightly delayed but it is still on the drawing board. Feel free to check back though, it's no bother at all. Thanks, Karel Wegert Karel,Just so I understand and can relay the correct info to my favoritemessage boards, let me get some clarification if possible. When you say slightly delayed, does this mean it was being prototyped, or still on the drawing boards? How much longer will we have to wait? Thanks again! JasonHi Jason,Originally the Matrix shifter was scheduled to be completed in May however it has been pushed back to July due to greater demand for several other parts. Thanks,Karel Wegert

if everyone would just stop making the same crap over and over for the civic and integra goofs...we could finnaly get some aftermarket parts for our much better vibes. . . . .

I agree, our stuff was probably pushed back because of an overwhelming number of RSX owners needing a shifter that cuts the throw 70% instead of 65.

Kill all imports...kill all imports...Sidenote: I could REALLY use the shortshifter now.. I changed out my GT shifter (the hard 'chrome' was bothering my palm) for a StreetGlow shifter knob. Though I might bring that shifter back, because the EL in it is LOUD. Yes, loud.Anyway, it sticks up higher than the stock knob, which screws me up in the gears a bit. Gotta look around for a better shifter..

It's a shame really, they could have parts available in a section of the market that is NOT even close to flooded! They would move more based on that alone!!

the problum is aftermarket builders don't really know about the vibe, crap most pontiac gm dealers here in Vegas don't even know about them. When i go to toyota to get parts all the sales geeks run over to look at my baby and ask who the manufacturer is( not noticing the pontiac shild in the front and sides and rear. we need to just keep pushing the aftermarket for parts, gm e-mailed me a few muths back and said at the sema show there was all kinds of after market parts for the vibe, yet to be seen . . . .. . .
