Not sure how big it is, but if you have the micro-antenna (about 1.5 in x 1 in), it's probably not going to cover it. Unless you seal the stock antenna hole. The reason I say this is the whole bottom of the XM antenna is not a magnet. There's plenty of space for water to get under it.I suggest if you want to do this, make sure you can seal up the holes that're left. Although i'd say just get a shorter antenna mast (I think an S2000 style on eBay should work).Hope this helps!

my xm antena is bigger than the stock base so i guess its not micro it should cover the hole.and i only want one antenna on my car since i dont listen to regular radio anymore.i dont need a shorter one

As previously stated, it is recommended you seal the hole around the XM antenna wire, and then seal the base of the antenna to the roof...this will insure no water gets inside the headliner...But make sure you can someday undo what you did if you ever wanna be able to return the car to stock to sell it...

thats how i have it now silver. i know a couple of people have had the headliner off so i thought id ask what the hole looked like before i did it.ive hacked or drill out so many parts of my car(one of those being why i need a dash cover) that i could never sell it,not that i'd want to, im keeping my vibe till it or i die. i read something raging posted about it being one big hole in his manual ,if its one hole how does the antenna attach threaded base and big locknut or something. i wont twist from outside the car.
