Thanks! I'm proud to be in the family. I'll hopefully join the grill insert and exhaust family by June! (removed).Yes, the color matchs up almost exactly Hope. I don't have a digital camera so I have to wait until I go over my dad's to take pictures. I hace to re-paint the battery tie-down. The paint got jacked up while I was moving it around during hte installation.I'm buying the grills off Ebay this Wednesday! Hurray!

She doesn't know. She drove it once ot the store the day after I installed it. She comes home and says "man I love that cat". I said "do you like the sound of it too?" and she said yeah it sounds great also! and I told her I just disconnected the black extension tube from the intake box. This morning the intake was humming and making the loud vacuum noise it normally makes when you first start it up and she said she wants me to put the extension back on (removed)! She wont know. She's only driven it like 5 times since we got it in 2002. now the exhaust may be a little harder to hide. I think she will let me buy it though.

Looks great! Is that the Injen CAI? I was calling a couple shops about the Injen and they only had prices for the XRS. Does anyone know if the Injen for the XRS is compatible for the GT?

If I remember right, you need to trim down the pipe on the injen on order for it to fit on the Vibe GT. Injen is supposedly designing one for the 04 GT. I just ordered the Cosmo Short Ram. I should have it on Friday. It'll be a fun weekend!

Hey, Rod, where did you get that engine tie down? I don't particularly like the stock one. The paint on mine has already scratched off. Your engine looks awsome man.

They come with a sticker that says something about the air filter having oil on it, and not to throw it away because it's bad for the earth. Blah blah blah

I'd be more concerned about throwing the fitlter away because I'd have to buy a new one, not because of the environment lol.

The caution sticker is a joke. I will post a pic but I want to first say that it's just for fun and I don't want to offend anybody and if I do I'm very sorry. The battery tie down I made from 1/4 inch stainless rod and some 18 guage sheet stainless. I shaped them on the bender and sheetmetal brake at work and then TIG welded them up. My friend Jerry polished it for me. I didn't like the stock tie down either Merz. Though I did make the stainless one the exact same shape as the stock one!!! Hummmmm!! I guess I liked it a little!! Here's the warning sticker pic.
