I have a 2004 and tried this tonight. Window popped open immediately. No delay. I wonder if this changed from 2003 to 2004?

It's the same way with most keyfobs I think. My fiancee's 2000 Grand Am requires you to hold in the trunk button for a few seconds before it pops.

I remember messing with a vibe at the showroom when i was getting ready to buy, and being like "geez, off the lot this damn car is already broken!" then the dealer's like "no, you gotta hold it down slick." i was like. oops.

Better than my experience Mike, where the fobs weren't even programmed into the car! I asked the guy if it would go into a panic mode if you held down a button, and we realized neither of the remotes worked! 30 minutes later they had them programmed.
