question for Survivor watchers

I remember from earlier shows that there is a rule on Survivor that 2 people are not allowed to make an alliance in order to get to the final 2 and then split the million? Isn't that what basically just happened?

True. But "getting married" obviously rises above simple collusion with another player to split the money.Amber is not splitting the money within the meaning of the show's rules.

But what if their plan was to get married for a few months then split the money

um.. that's a lot of work to go thru just to split the pot. and isn't it only $1 mill they win? hardly enough to go thru all that hassle, pwk, and such for $500K... after taxes, it's not much. maybe if it were like $100 mill prize, but very doubtful for $1 mill. just my opinion on the matter. i don't watch survivor.

Don't forget about (NEW EPISODE!) Thursday, 8PM ET/PTAmerica, you decide: Who do you want to win the million dollars?

I also thought that the runner up gets $100k, so does that mean between the both of them they got 1.1mil?

I'm just glad that Rupert got $1Mil afterall. I was rooting for him most of the time! In the end, i'm hoping that Rob and Amber do stay together.. They do seem like they could be a good couple.Kinda sad that they both won cars..AND 1 Million.. But...it did make for a good show..

(CBS) The wait is finally over. Thursday is the premiere of the 10th season of America's most popular reality show, "Survivor." It starts tonight!

Hmm, supposedly there's a big change in the way the game is played. My guess is that there won't be set tribes and it's every man/woman for themselves. I can't see any other reason to increase the cast size to 20.I hope there really is a big shake up in the format because the existing format got REALLY old by the third season.
