Hello all fellow VIBER's...I love my Lava Vibe and am very satisfied with my car after 38,000 miles...Well I am not smart enough to trick my VIBE out or MOD it..but as a working artist for several theaters here in HOUSTON TEXAS, I carry a bunch of stuff from here to there...So I decided to purchase the OFFICIAL GM part trunk bin...Well the dealer had it for about 200.00 I was like RIghtttt??? So I saw it on E-bay for 60 bucks..bid and won..and to make a long story short IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! It definatly is not like GM describes it..It is really small and flimsy falls apart if you bump it and was just a great dissapointment..Ok there I got it of my chest...I am currently in the process of getting the cargo mat whiich I have seen and I think will be fine..I was just writing to warn anyone else ...just buy a plastic box for 5 bucks and put it back there...Unfortunatly I have 20 pounds of USELESS plastic in the back of my VIBE...Well I guess its not that bad....Ok Just comment if you all want..But I still think VIBE'S RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BYE!

I bought my mat at the dealer - it was $70. Then later I saw it on an internet parts place for $49. Check around with GOOGLE.

See my mat,i bought it for less then 10$,i thing it was 7 or 8$ at Réno.And it was almost the same mesure of the place,little bit bigger,that's good enough to protect the corner,i didn't need to cut to put.And the reliable storage i bought for 5$ at Canadian tire,and the net for 15$.The attach 4for1$ with different size from 1$ dollars shop.Sometime if you count at yourself you can save lot of money. Feeling of saving money priceless.

And the mat is caoutchouc at the bottom,for water or......can resorbe.

tatooine, was the cargo box that you bought a real GM cargo box or is someone making cheap knockoffs?

I have one of the cargo boxes. It is pretty durable and holds everything I put in it really well. I'm thinkin yours is a diefferent brand maybe? Anyways, I don't use mine anymore.

My gf bought the same exact cargo box for her Explorer. I noticed after she bought it that it looked identical to the one Pontiac sells for the Vibe.Got it at Bed, Bath, & Beyond for $40 heh.She seems to like it.

No it is definatly GM and right in the front center it says GM It is durable but just not worth 180.00 of course I did not pay that much but still...I am just a little dissapointed with it..Oh well live and learn thanks for the feedback...RS
