Painted cladding

I searched for it but could not find anything on it. I want to make my two tone vibe a monotone. Has anyone had their cladding painted and if so what are your experiences with it? How much did it cost? Who did it? How does it look? Is the paint holding up?

You're cladding is the same as is on a Monotone. Should look great!Make sure the shop uses a flex-additive in the painting process.

Yes, after having my bumpers replaced from being rearended twice and slipping into a bank of ice/snow all they do is order a bumper like yours and paint it. Now, as I mentioned in some previous posts, the paint had started to peel on the edges where the tire sprays against it. The shop has fixed it and they say it should last. They have to bake the plastic to remove any residue that causes the paint to not stick well. Then they use some strong chemical cleaners on the plastic and then paint. I don't know if it's still going to be as strong as the factory paint, but I hope so.

Thank you both for the input. Now I have to find a good shop that will do the job right.
