In a thread over at matrixvibe, a 4wd matrix owner says he had a problem where a rear suspension part was installed incorrectly which allowed something to shift causing a sudden alignment change that caused an accident. Good work on posting the pictures!I think I'll head out to the garage this afternoon and take a peek. With how old my car is, I'm sure it's fine but...I hope that guy gets his car fixed properly.

You are correct!! My clips are aligned, with the tabs on the outside. The photo here shows the defect: The clips I am refering to are those metal pieces that are sticking in at an angle on both sides; they should have the metal tab wrapping over the other metal, not simply rubbing against it.
