Hmm...maybe it's me, but I don't get it. What do they do? What are they "hiding?"

ok now that i see whats going on. arent those illegal seeing as you have covered up your turn signals. unless they are translucent enough for light to show through.

Nah, they don't block the signal, only the reflector on the side. Light isn't emitted through it. The signal light exits via the front lens, which remains unobstructed.

The downside to this is if your cars nose is sticking out in the street for whatever reason, other drivers won't see the reflector, and hit the vibe... so yeah i'll stick with my reflectors... show car would be a completely different story

What color are they? Black? Could be a nice addition to the blacked-out look I'm pursuing...hmmmm. How much?

I asked the local police last night and he looked at them and said as long as the blinker are unobstructed they would be fine, he told me that the underbody neons were illegal but was told by his superiors not to "waste time" pulling cars over with them. guess it pays to live in a small town. as far as pulling up to an intersection or pulling out of a driveway. I don't believe thats true, you can see the parking blinker lights from the side.

Wow those really change the overall look of the Vibe. Weird how little things like that do. They look good.

Heya... I was looking out the window at my Vibe today and thought about getting these overlays then I had a thought that since it's not for street use, could a pattern be cut into the vinyl, maybe the vibe logo, to reveal the reflective orange through the pattern? I know the vinyl needs to be stretched a bit so this may distort whatever pattern may be cut into it but if it's done after it's applied, it should work, right?Anyone have any thoughts on doing this?Dave

Those would be a nice touch, but I'd never pass inspection in NJ with them...

I thought that there was a small square cut out type thing in the reflector where you can see the turn indicator blinking from the side
