I was thinking about picking up a Wheelskin for my Vibe. I have a base and would have liked if we could have gotten a leather wrapped on the Vibe. Has anyone gotten one of these and if so how do they fit? I did a search and saw one person had a little difficulting getting theirs to fit right. Has anyone here gotten a Wheelskin and installed it. How does it look?

OK I just installed the perforated eurotone on my Vibe yesterday and I must say it feels great. It makes the steering wheel a bit thicker and easier to handle and the perforated new design matches well with the inside of the Vibe steering wheel that's also perforated.I recommend you get one and follow directions closely. I've installed about 6 of them so it's easy for me but being that it's your frst time read the instructions and take your time.Good luck,Alex

I was thinking about getting a perforated one and possibly two-tone with the black and charcoal so it would match the black and dark gray dash. Thanks for the info.

doesn't look too bad for a/m wheel cover. still, i like my stitched and covered OEM leather wheel.

I like the stiched and leather wrapped OEM wheel too but by adding the wheelskin, it adds a little more thickness and cushion to the OEM wheel and much more comfortable to drive.Just my .02

well, the stitched OEM leather wheel was only available on the GT. if i had a base, then i'd do the same or try and find a used OEM wheel online. i don't know if the leather options will be changing for the 05 since leather interior is now available. i had to install my leather a/m myself... still i like it better than the factory leather they will be offering anyways!

the problem with the GT wheel is that only part of it is leather-wrapped. I may consider a wheelskin too..

what i'm kinda miffed about is on the gt, if they wrap the frickin steering wheel and shifter, why the hell they didn't wrap the plastic cheapy ebrake handle!

That's kinda cool...I just hate how you can see the stictching...if there was one that just stretched and held on via elastic, but looked just as nice, I'd be all over it...

There's another kind you can stretch over it, I can get pics of mine tomorrow possibly (Depends on how full my day is )I'm considering getting a Momo, Sparco, or Grant steering wheel though, along with Sparco seats to match

i've seen some momo wheels that are airbag compatible. but they are very very expensive, like $200+. also,
http://www.exoticwooddash.com can do a custom job for you. you can send in your steering wheel and they will cover it to your specifications... i thought about that w/ my tundra. never got around to it though.

Rob it doesn't go over the airbag part just over the steering wheel. Psycho: Maybe we should start a group buy on wheelskins

i'm pretty sure the OEM "leather" wrapped wheel is real leather. the leather they use for wrapping the wheels isn't the best by any means! LOL. but, still looks much better than any wheelskin or cover IMHO. that's why i paid more money for the leather interior kit that replaces the entire cloth interior and not just leather seat "covers"....but for a relatively inexpensive interior mod, that wheelskin is the best looking cover i've seen so far.
