I've never dragged at a strip before, but plan to this summer. I'm sure my times will be lower than most I would imagine dragging a GT to be harder than most cars, since it makes no power down low.I would say launch harder, and make sure you are at redline ebfore shifting, prractice shifting as fast as you possibly can too. The key to dragging a GT is stay in lift, that's where your power is.

draged my 03 gt this weekend at kcir stayed in the 16.116 to 16.537 with a bent fork and linkage check the kills thread

Ill be at the track tomorrow. See what a base with CAI and exhaust can do..

i heard(underline heard) with a topnotch driver the vibe can do 15.03, does this seem tooooo qiuck, or do oyou guys think its possible, i would suppose it could be done, probably with ALOT of clutch abuse though

one time i reversed with the clutch 1/2 ingaged at 4000RPMs, the car smelled really bad and i decided to turn it off for a minute after that, oops

are you talking completely stock GT? or w/ a cai, exhaust and chip??? if so then yes, very possible indeed! i would love to go to the track and test it out, but they want $40!
