Can't pass up the good rebate now.. I only had a $500 rebate when I bought mine back in July. The best deal I could get was $500 off sticker, so the $1000 off is good. That should bring you around $20,000 for the AWD after all deductions, tax, etc.?

First, make sure you can get low APR financing on the car even if you accept the bonus cash. Passing it up can mean very low rates that can save you much MORE than the bonus, and accepting it could mean much higher rates. I regret getting the $1000 bonus cash because the low APR woulda saved me $1500 or more. Don't forget...you are the boss! Don't let them tell you the price...shop around at different dealers for the BOTTOM LINE price (out the door price like vehicle price, taxes, and fees). Different dealers can offer different deals, especially now because sales are slow this time of year. Just dont pay strange fees like advertising fees or the like....they are for suckers.

Although I own a Vibe, I opted against the AWD, because of performance issues. It sucks on gas, and performance....well a John Deere lawnmower has better performance. It's your preference, but if you are driving up a hill with the A/C on, you are going to be pushing it hard.
