Meguiar's Deep Crystal 3 Step Process (Pics)

Last weekend, I went ahead and applied the Meguiar's Deep Crystal paint treatment. All 3 steps took about 5 hours to apply, but it was well worth the work. I think the hardest step was the first one, the paint cleaner. It's amazing how much garbage gets on your car that you don't even realize is there. I took some pics after I got done and although it was cloudy, you can still see how nice it shines. I also have my new GM window deflectors on in the pics.Pic 1:

Looks good! I love the Deep Crystal system. It does take awhile to apply, though! Have you used Mother's clay bar? How do they compare?

I didn't use any clay bar on the car this time. I am going to purchase a Meguiar's clay bar when I do though. I'm sure all of them are good. If I wasn't already using Meguiar's, I would be using Mother's.

Have you used a clay bar ever in the past?In terms of use and application, would you say clay bar is easier, or the deep crystal system?By the way, DAAAAMN that's a shine!

No I haven't but from what I understand, it is very easy to use. The clay bar is designed to get out more stuborn spots than the cleaner.

Hey Triton,Would you happen to have the part number and cost (if I may ask) of those window deflectors?? Or are they just listed on the GM Accesories page? I haven't looked in awhile. I am also debating about getting the cargo mat. Also, do they have a deflector for the sunroof??VernPS the car looks GREAT!!! I may look in to that as well....

The part number for the GM Window Deflectors is 12498261 and they were little over $50 with shipping from Parts Zone Online . I have never seen a sunroof deflector from GM. Only Auto Ventshade.

What was the other step you applied? I am taking next Friday off to wax my car and would like to try this process on my Vibe. Thanks.

Step 1 is the paint cleaner, step 2 is polish and step 3 is the pure carnauba wax. You will definitely need some time, but it is well worth it.
