I've recently been thinking of something similar. I also would like to add subs in the back. I'm thinking of removing everything in the spare tire well and having it dynomatted and a custom box built in there for 2 12" subs and the amp to drive them. Would then remove the hinged plastic covering (the floor of the rear) and replace it with plexiglass or lexan or something like that and also put some neons in the compartment to make it all glow. That should be pretty cool. But I don't want to replace the head unit yet.

I have some polk speakers that I am happy with. EX3560's up front and EX365's in back. The components up front sound great! Very clear and good bass for a 6.5" speaker. The rears aren't as nice, but still good.

I have the Polk/MOMO MM6 component set in the front doors, and getting the Polk DB6500 Component set in the back doors in about a hour. Will let you know how it sounds.

Cross between Justin's and GT's setups.Polk MM6 in the front, EX3560's in the rear, though the tweeters are switched due to the MM6's being open box, and only having the flush-mount cups...so I drilled 1.5" holes in the back doors to fit 'em in.
