I was thinking about getting the bra that GM sells for my Vibe. I was just wondering if anybody has one and if they like it. Does it mess up the finish of the paint? Is it a pain in the (removed) to install or remove? Does it look stupid? I want some feedback before I spend the $100.Thanks in advance.

I've got one. I don't know how it affects the paint, I've only taken it off once since I got it. The first installation is a pain in the (removed) (the fasteners that snap in are really tough to snap into place), but removal and re-installation is super easy (five minutes tops).I have a satellite, and I think it looks good. Actually, it freaks me out to see a bra-less satellite!I got it because the bugs here are so terrible. With all the rock chips in it from this winter, I could only imagine what that would have done to my paint!

there is a reason i bot a mono vibe. unless i had a mono abyss, then i wuld not put one of those on my car. but i'm sure it would help protect it from rocks, debris, bugs, etc.

I washed and waxed my car the other day and there were like 7 or 8 rock chips on the front and the hood. Made me angry. I was also looking at the clear plastic you can get, but it is a little too expensive for my taste. So I thought that the bra might do the trick.

I just installed my bra this evening to avoid all the chips and bugs. I cant say enough what a pain in the (removed) the fasteners are. Doesnt help that the instructions are lacking. Was I supposed to remove the existing fasteners in order to insert the ones provided with the bra? I must say thought that it does look nice and fits like a glove. BTW, I did like the fact that the rear mud flaps had the bottom hole already there. Just remove the exisitng fastener and insert the bolt for the flap. I could have done without seeing the back drums on the Vibe. My quad has bigger brakes than that.All in all, a productive evening. Now if I could only get those darn front flaps, I would be setBob

Sorry, but I think ALL bras on cars make the car look ugly. Do as you will, though, 'cause I know you will. I do.

I actually think the Bra works okay on my Lava GT. Refresh through the front page at GrafxWerks to see it. Granted, i'd love to leave it off, but not until I can repaint. I have the OEM bra that I got from gmpartsdirect.com (I think)
