I have a TON of hockey cards, some rare, some not, that I am interested in selling. I have no idea where to get them appraised though. Maybe someone knows someone else that can apraise them for me or a website or magizine or something I can get to put a pric eon them.

You are talking to the right man now! I'm a huge sports card collector. Sorry not hockey! But use this function on this page... SINGLE CARD LOOK UP
http://www.beckett.com/priceguides/ 1. Type in the players first and last name to the left of "Find your card."2. Choose the sport, in this case, hockey.3. The year....add one year to stats.4. Set name....Ex. Topps, Fleer, Upper Deck. Somewhere on the card.5. Card Number...the number typically in the corner of the card on the back. You won't have to buy the beckett price guide. there are only like $5 or so. You can find them at a local hobby shop, book store, or grocier. Good Luck. Let us know what you find.

The Beckett hockey price guide magazine is great! I remember that I used to pick one up every couple of months when I was big into collecting hockey cards. The magazines themselves even became collectible! They featured a player every month on the front and back cover that determined how collectible that issue was. I have an older Wayne Gretzky one I think, and one with Pierre Turgeon on the front and I think Martin Brodeur on the back. A few others that I can't think of right now too.

the only thing that sucks is that cards worth any money are rare i have a buttload of B-ball cards from '86,'87, when i used to buy them a lot, but hardly any are worth anything.

I think that $5-$10 is about the most that any single hockey card from about the last decade will be worth right now. Even my Jaromir Jagr rookie card is only worth about $5 and he is just about guaranteed hall of fame material. The only exceptions may be some fancy and rare cards that were part of limited edition subsets.
