Well it can be any dealer but say you go to one thats a chev/olds dealer only. Their guys won't be as well informed as the pontiac ones in regards to your Vibe.Otherwise though warranty is good at any GM dealership.

If the vehicle is under warranty, and the problem would not prevent the safe operation of the vehicle, you need to take it to a Pontiac dealer.

I'd take it to the Pontiac dealer if at all possible. Since its got a Toyota drivetrain in it, the other dealers are not going to have technicians specifically trained on it. If they don't have a really good mechanic, and few dealers do have really good ones, they won't have a clue as to what they are doing.

Toyota can't warranty anything for you even if its a pontiac shell on a toyota.

well, it's only a piece of cladding on the door, window clicks, and my cat needs re-welded, its rattling. shouldn't that be pretty easy?

I believe that you'll have to take it to a Pontiac dealer for warranty repairs. My brother-in-law ran into a similar problem with the GMC Sierra he had -- the Chevy dealer was close to home, GMC was an hour away, so he took it to the Chevy shop, which is where he bought it in the first place. Exactly the same products, but the Chevrolet shop was unable to honor the warranty.Even though it is still GM, I don't think the individual divisions will honor the other's warranty.

Gotta add them to my ever-growing list of stuff for the dealer to fix.
