Well, a few small problems have compiled so I decided to take her in to get them repaired...I made a list of them lol.1) All four doors rattle to the music even when the bass is at 02) Gauge pod squeeks3) The little plastic bracket on the bottom right side of the driver's seat that holds the seat belt clicker has been separated into two halves and I cannot get them to stay togather4) Finally getting my cd player raplaced. When ever I slow down or stop the cd player makes a grinding noise like it is off balance or something. It's been doing that since I got it.5) Oil change.6) Tire rotation.I would have done the oil myself but I can't because of the warentee, and I didn't feel like dealing with the tire since I do not have the correct equipment like jacks and such.I miss my baby I hope they take good care of her and don't scratch the engine parts i just painted with care for 2 days

If you took it to Jim Causley---it will be fixed just fine. They are a great dealer with a super repair dept.........I have never had a problem. My service advisor 's name is Jeff Benfitt.

My baby is in the shop today too, I am driving to Georgia on Thurs. so I wanted to make sure everything was OK. I know it needs an alignment and an oil change but they are giving it a once over to make sure everything is cool.

ok, so I'm pissed. Jim Causley didnt do a good job...They didn't even fix anything I brought it in for...they did rotate the tires and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't change the oil lol. They didn't fix the seat, or the gauge pod squeek. When I went to my car after school the plastic cover on the pillar on the left side of the windshield was hanging off the pillar and wouldn't snap back in because the clips are too flat, and finally the dash board is crooked...I'm asuming the reason teh pillar fell off and the dash is crooked is because they took out the radio and have not gotten it in the shop yet, so when they replace the radio tomorow the dash and pillar will probably be fixed. My mom is taking it in while I'm at school so she will be watching them and making sure they fix everything I wanted them to fix this time!!!

Sounds like pretty crappy service. On the other hand you had quit a list of demands, did you leave your car there with enough time to get it done or did you drop it in and come back for it before they were done?I can tell you a rattle is the hardest problem to fix, you can't drive down the road and see whats loose, and you can't make it rattle on your hoist. Its a lot of in and out of the shop testing things.

Well the rattle was the least of my concerns...I can deal with it or just fix it myself. I left it there at about 3:30 monday afternoon and picked it up at about 3:00 on Tuesday afternoon... that's about 11 hours they could have worked on it. So I'm taking it there after school again today and i personally am going to watch them fix it an make sure they do everything correctly. I'm not going to bother with the rattles though.

Mine is the shop today. Had the cladding replaced a couple of weeks ago, and the passenger side rocker had a big scratch on it, so they are replacing that. Also replacing the Nav HU and re-installing the driver's side badging - it's crooked lol.

Ok they couldn't take the car AGAIN today so my mom is ONCE AGAIN going to take the car in tomorow morning while I'm at school...I swear if I don't get my radio in by 9:00 tomorow night when I go cruising I'm going to be pissed. I should try and convince them to install one of those 7" LCD dvd screens instead So you're getting the navigation head unit eh? If you got a PS2 or something that plays dvds, would you be able to use the navigation screen to watch them? or is the navigation screen only able to use the navigation system? I've allways wanted to know tha answer.

The NAV system you can get with the car won't do video or anything, it's just navigation. I've looked around, and there are a couple of sites that'll modify it for video, but it's around $600.I'm personally trying to get a Pioneer AVIC-N1. If I can get one, i'll probably sell my Nav system for $800 or so (with changer, and aux in adapter)

It's a guy I know that has a booth at Gibralter...it's like a giant warehouse where people sell anythihng and everything. They are brand new and he gets them for the factory price and sells them for the same price. I think he has a shop here somewhere near detroit. I could get a card next time I go and geta phone number or something if you want.
