Hey Guys... I have been in contact with the editor of Sport Compact National and he would like me to submit an ad for the club... to help get the word out about it. And for $10 they are willing to send each member of the club a magazine a month for the rest of the year....Are you guys interested in picking a club name and making a website?I need to know asap.

Jeez, I go to work for a few hours and everything's gone to CRAP Maybe we should do another meet, skip wings, and limit the number of times we can hit lift on the test drives. Oh, yeah, and think up of a club name and game plan.

There is an import car show coming up on May 15th or 16th... can't remember which... that would be fun to go to... I have lots of friends that are entering the show.

As for the club name we should come up with something quick hows about somethin we can get the folks at grafxwerks to make for us and put on the back window to promote the club too. Avacado is funny hows about Got Sushi? JK I'll give it some thought today at work at post tonight. Meanwhile I'm gonna start putting up flyers everywhere to promote the club and get interest going for the next meet. Have we all picked a date yet?

I don't know about you... but I never look at those bulletin boards...The way I got my celica club going was:1. pick an easy name2. set up a website3. make up little flyers to put on the windsheilds of other celicas (or vibes) the RSX club made business cards...4. have decals made up and put them on your windows

Sure, I'll buy that.I don't think Ivan put it forward at the outset with the intention that it would be a domain that we'd register and use ourselves, which is why the ".cal" made more sense at the time. However, if .ca works for you guys (.ca could signify Calgary AB as well as Canada, ambiguity is always good), let's give it a go.And we all buy Ivan a beer for coming up with the name.
