So I am minding my own freaking business and a little girl in my neighborhood comes to my door selling candles that she makes. I didn't want any and politely said no thanks maybe next time. She had her friend with her on a two wheeles scooter thing and as soon as I close the door to the house I hear them farting around out there by my wifes and my car trying to get through with the wagon and the scooter that they had. So I look out to see what is going on and find the girl on the scooter about ten I imagine looking up at the house to make sure no one is looking and takes the handle bar into my right rear quarter gougin it down to the metal. Of course I run out of the house and ask her what she was thinking and she tells me it was an accident which is total bull. I had to do everything in my power to not smack this **** out of this little witch. There is my story. Needless to say I aam pissed. It is in the arear where I am thinking that they are going to have to paint the rear quarter and up along the top above the windows to the fron fender, I would imaagine with the Abyss paint being metal flake it is a beatch to maatch. I don't know let you know what goodies I can get from the insurance, later

I'd say track that little POS down and make her parents pay for it! Take them on Judge Judy!

wow, that sucks... Have you talked to her parents? I'm really not liking how it seems people, even youths seem to have so little regard for someone else's property. I was pulling out of the alley (I know, alleys are bad but my garage opens toward it) and the kids 2 doors down were throwing sizeable rocks at each other. one kid ran up right behind me while I was waiting for traffic to clear then his little brother (I think) tosses another rock right at him but worse, RIGHT AT ME! Luckily the younger kid was too small to get enough distance but the worst part was that their parents were WATCHING!!! UGH! Didn't me but if he did, I would have exploded. I've had problems with the older kid and rocks before.Anywho... I have the touch-up paint for the Abyss and it seems to blend in the metal flakes fairly well. I'm guessing your best bet is to go to a GM bodyshop for a better match of this color. I was actually surprised how well the touch-up paint matched in texture. I would have to believe a GM bodyshop would have to be able to get it right.Dave

Even if it was an accident, the girl's parents insurance has to cover it. That what insurance is for...accidents. Shouldn't cost you a dime, my friend.

Oh yeah you are all right. She did give me her address that is to say if it is the real one or not I will find out I am going to go by there again tonight and see if I can beat the door in. Seems that yesterday they were there but no one wanted to answer. The problem that I have with the address that she told me was that it was about a mile away. Hmmmmmm makes me think that she has done this before. But then again I am sure that I will see her again. I talked to my dealership and they are going to do the work for me. I already filed a claim with my insurance and there shouldn't be a deductible on the comprehensive side of things which it is since there was no one in the vehicle at the time and it was parked. Another thing that chaps my hide and not trying to profile anyone at all but I do sty in a trailer park for the time being while I am trying to get my house plans done. It is my brother inlaws place that we are watching for him while he is on the job out of state for awhile. But I will tell you these kids here bring the word Trailer Trash to new meaning. I am about fed up with living here but hopefully we will be out of there soon. My wife hates it to. But everyone has to do what they can do. Thanks for all the commments guys it makes me feel better that you all would like to whoopp some (removed), even if it was a little kid, if it happened to your ride. Well got to run later all

I would have dragged her (removed) into my house, kicked her (removed), called the police and gotten her on a burglery charge; but that's just me.Don't stand for that crap.

Well here is the scoop of everything as of yesterday. After the little witch lied to me about where she lived, I tracked her parrents down through one of the other neighborhood kids. Well lets just ay he didn't go as I thought. I approach her Dad with respect like I expect to get from him. I tell him what happened and he says what the hell do you want me to do about it I don't have any money for this. Trying to keep my composure as this ****er tells me he doesn't have any money and is cooking about 50 pounds of steak in front of me. I show him what happened he does confirm that his little kid is a liar for one but he doesn't think that his little angel would do it on purpose. But I think other wise. So rather than causing a seen out of cops and having to go to jail for beatin this dude down I chalk up my pride and roll on letting him know that if insurace doesn't pay for it I will be back to talk about it. In the mean time supposedly he is going to beat her (removed) but who knows. Still there is no end to the story yet and I will keep you all posted with the new info that I get. Hopefully my insurance is going to be cool and fix it without a deductible. I have glass breakage and all the comp **** at 0 deductible if I remember correctly. I don't know. Later all

Hey all just went out and looked at the scratch again to how bad it was and if the body shop can blend it I am going to have them do that but quote the insurace to paint have the vehicle. We will see what happens, not sure if it will work but if it doesn't I think that I am going to have mommy and Daddy fork over the money for it and have it fixed on my insurance. We will see I will keep you posted.

I don't know where you are, But here in Ontario te parents are accountable for damage up to $3000.00. I've been lucky as my kids know how to respect others, but changed my house insurance just in case my kids do have lapse in judgement

Just thought that I would give you all an update about what is going to happen with my car, I am going to be dropping it of to the dealership to get painted or as the adjuster for the insurance said blended. They have to take the clear off the rear qurter and the side above the windows under the roof rack up to the end of the windshield. Blend the base underneath. To do this they have to take off the rear bumber cover, wheel molding, rear window, and roof rack. It is going to be, estimated from the insurance, $409.42. I dont' think that it is going to be enough for the work that is going to have to be done to it but we will see. The adjuster did tell me what ever it takes they will cut me a check for it. So I don't know. We will see what happens and I will let you know what is going on later.

Hey all just thought that I would let you know the progress of things that are going on. I had to take my car back to the dealer that fixed it the farked it up real bad. Orange peel was so bad that it looked like fisheyes, over spry in the door jamb and the rim, they cut the poop out of the window when they took it out, thin paint around the window opening, paint on the interior plastic. I think that is it. Needless to say I am pretty pissed about the whole scenario. It is there now and I will let you know Wednesday when I pick it up what it looks like. Later
