I'm thinking about getting a new Vibe GT... they're cool little cars. but one thing concerns me a bit. Whenever I'm looking at one at the dealership all the women I see always say "oh, its so cute!". Also, the few Vibes I've seen have all had female drivers. Is it a chick car... like the VW Beetle?Whats your take?

Does it matter what people think? Are you buying it for yourself or for everyone? If you like it, buy it. Who cares what other people say.

There are many males from what I can see on this website and there are many male Vibe drivers. Everyone loves my Vibe--both male & female--My suggestion Do what you want to do and nevermind what other people think.They don't pay you bills.I have a saying that is this-You can't please everyone-so- Just Please Yourself! Not a chick car in my opinion, especially if you get the GT. Even if it is, what would be wrong with that. Chicks dig your car - that's a good thing! I get all kinds of girls that like the car.. and yes, comment that it is cute. I never got this type of attention with my Cavalier, so I have no complaints.

It is cute! I have one. I'm a girl. I love it. If I didn't have one and a guy I knew had one I'd still think it was cute and I'd want to ride in it all the time!

Hey…To be honest I was either going to get a Vibe (shadow) or a Volkswagen Beetle (platinum gray)…and I’m a guy...I will buy/drive what ever I want….it’s my money….but I picked the Vibe! Go with what you want!!!

When Ford released the Probe, they test-marketed a bunch of possible names to their target market.
