Selling the Vibe, getting a Trans!

Well as much as i love my Vibe GT, it just doesnt have the amount of "Balls-to-the-wall" power that ive had in previous cars. I was talking with my Aunt about a week ago about letting her precious '99 Trans Am go. I was plesently suprised when she said she was looking to sell it. This car has been babied since she bought it new off the lot. Black with dark grey interior, T-Tops, 6 speed, all with the bad @$$ LS-1 motor. Now it gets better, i thought she was gonna sell it for the KBB value, aprox. 9-10K. Nope shes selling it to me for what she owes on it, 5500. Right on, now i gotta find a buyer for my Vibe

Had a few Cameros but never a TA. Great deal on the price, you may need it for insurance. I couldn't afford to keep mine because of the theft and accident rate here in Arizona.

Being in NC you probaby don't need a "winter" car, but the GT will be an exciting daily driver for gas milage purposes.

You certainly cannot turn down a deal like that! What a screaming bargain! If you can swing it, I'd keep the Vibe as a daily driver for any hauling duties, or taking it anywhere you may not want to subject the bird too. Keep that T/A in a+ condition! Congrats and enjoy!!

If I had any money, I'd buy your Vibe off you..but I don't.. I agree with Fformula88.. See if you can keep both. One of the guys in my shop just bought an S2000, and still has his Civic. He told the insurance guy the S2k is a weekend car, and insurance was like NOTHING on it..
