Anyone lubricated the 6 speed manual linkage? If so how do you get to it from inside the car, and what type of lube did you use. Thanks !!!

i used a lithium grease can w/ an extended straw on it and then hit some from above through the engine compartment and some from below w/ the car jacked up.....have someone shift through the gears while u do it too so u get all the parts lubed.-Phil

ahhh, yes, i was talking about the mechanical linkage going into the tranny before but putting some lube on the linkage under the actual shifter is a good idea too.....its really simple....the boot has a wire around its base and is just held in w/ tension....just wiggle and squeeze it a little and it should pop right out.....it comes out easiest from the end closest to the parking brake.Make sure ur using lithium grease as it wont break down rubber bushings.-Phil
