Heyz...I tried a search and I couldnt find it again. I am looking for the thread that someone did of the sparetire cargo area with hsi emergency equipment. It had pictures, but I cant find the post anywhere. Either I over looked it, or its under a wierd name.Any help?

i was bummed to find you can't store a full size spare in that compartment....it was one of the first things i purchased for long road trips.....now i just take out the doughnut spare and use that space for various gear and then carry the full size spare either in the cabin or on the roof.

It's a good palce to hide alcohol lol. I don't drink but I sell to my friends (removed)...good money.Hey speaking of spare tire compartments, would you be able to build a system into the floor if you took the spare tire out and the little hopper thing that covers it out?

i store my golf discs in there... ahhh i played on saturday since work was slow a few coworkers and i went and shot 18 holes before we had to be back for the night shift.

Yes a system can be built into that compartment- Made a sweet one in my buddy's focus

I was wondering if it would be possible to store an extra car battery in there to help poewr a system if you wanted a huge one...i personally dont want anything bigger than 2 12's but I was just curious.

It would be possible to put an extra battery in there- but you would have to remove the spare- and for a sytem with two 12s you would most likely be able to get away with jsut having a fared capacitor- unless you have a monsterous amp.
