I was cruising around the internet for some detailing info and I found this website. It has TONS of great info on automotive detailing and there seem to be many professional detailers who contribute their knowledge and experience to the site. What is a Fair price range for a complete Vehicle detail? Including Full interior, Enginge bay, and Buff/Wax of exterior?

Are you talking about your car personally. Typical 3 step with 83, 80 and NXT wax not counting if there was really deep scratch removal involved, an interior, engine bay detail and rim polish. I would say you could possibly get it done quick for the $150-$180 range. If you want autoshow unveiling kind of clean (what I do) then you are looking at around $250-$300 is what I would charge. This weekend I am doing a full detail on my friends fiences 01 Mustang convertible, $200 cause he gets the friend discount and its a smaller car. Still should take me anywhere from 6-8 hours.

I was just curious.I'm having my wifes cavalier done before we sell it. Its not show worthy detail but close to brand new clean as the guy put it. He charges $90. He does several of the cars for the Enterprise Car Sales folks down the hall from where I work and does a great job from what i have seen.

He's a fleet freelance detailer. Gets them clean enough to sell and put back on the road. Should be good enough to get your Cavy sold.One thing he probably won't spend time doing for $90 (if he does, he's nuts) is swirl removal and blemish repairs, meticulously using Q-tips and fine tools to make sure no plastic/vinyl/tire care stuff gets on the paint either. That would require a few extra steps. Take for instance my 07 Kia Sportage rental I got right now, it looks clean, but it has numerous swirl marks on it and it only has 2,200 miles on the thing. Take a magnifyin glass to mine and try and find a swirl. I'm sure it is worth it for $90 to get it sold, if its a light color then much easier, if it's darker some people charge more.$90 is unheard of around here for a detail!
