Not that I've seen on the forums yet in the year and a half that I've been here. Do you have this happening to your Vibe? I've heard of this condition before but I'm not very familiar with it.I found this link for you: http://www.sherwin-automotive....x.cfm I would definately go talk to your dealer about this. They should take care of it for you. If they refuse or if this happened a while after purchasing the Vibe, I just read a site where somebody wrote that using a clay bar took care of this problem for them.

When I was using the clay bar on mine a few weeks ago, I noticed some small orange specks in the paint here and there. I didn't know what it was - but the clay bar removed them with no problem.

I just read on another site where an employee from a dealer wrote that GM and Ford both cover the clean up from rail dust under warranty. The cars are supposed to be prepped before they are even put on the lot so that rail dust does not show. Make them fix it and save yourself the money and effort.

I think I'm starting to get this. I noticed a couple of rust spots in the middle of a door panel. There was no stone chip near it. My car is past the extended warranty. Is a clay bar my only option?
