Anybody have a solution for the putting front spashguards on a 2004 two-tone vibe? Im a little miffed that Pontiac is changing the body style just after changing the two-tone cladding.. I have a feeling that Pontiac will just write us off any forget about offering front splash guards . Anybody have a solution or find an aftermarket alternative?thanks

Anybody have a solution or find an aftermarket alternative? Most aftermarket flaps (GM/generic brand) will work with some minor aligning - I posted a decent alternative in this thread:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...87030The only downside is you won't get the form-fitting type flap until it's released from GM in the coming month or two (better late than never).Quote, originally posted by ragingfish »Supposedly the 04 mud guards are due out in the next month or so...Yep, May or June is slated for the availability of the modified '04 mudflaps for the two-tone owners (as well as two-tone '05 and select TSB-replaced cladding '03s).

When I purchased my Vibe 2005, therefore obviously monotone, (less than a month ago), I had on my contract to install 4 splash guards.I mentioned that the Splash guards might not fits (information that I gather here, I even shown them the photo showing the difference in body cladding, etc.).The day they were preparing my Vibe, they call me to say it was OK and then they call me back to say it won't fit, that the parts has not been produced yet (could take few months, etc., etc.).When I took delivery of my Vibe, I made them add in writing on my car contract, that if they did not get the parts within 6 months, I could ask to get my money back (in fact, I haven't pay anything yet, since the price of the whole car including the accessories has been put over 36 months at 0% financing). I also make them add, that upon receiving these splash guards, the installation will be free, since this is what they agree at car purchase. Now in light of what you know on these splash guards, does the newly arrive 2004 splash guards will fit on a 2005 Vibe monotone ?If not, and knowing that winter in upon us (in Québec at least), do you suggest me to get Canadian Tire inexpensive mud guards and bolted them on the two or three sticking out bolts that I see in my front wheel housing ?I could wait (6 months or more) put I don't want to spend a winter without them (at least in the front).
