				Which wheel?

I'm trying to decide on which wheel design I should go with. I'm thinking about finally getting some new rims and tires. I really like the EV-Rs that Triton has, but that cost quite a bit compared to these. Two designs I'm looking at on Tirerack.com are: I like the deeper dish rim on the first, but then I like on the second how it has those indentations and more design to it. I think they both look good. When I see the Mille Miglia Evos and EV-R on a Vibe, I think they look so awesome. I haven't seen these on one, I wonder if they'll still really stand out and look great. The tire I'm thinking about is the Kumho Ecsta ASX, an all-season high performance tire. Anyone heard about them? Tirerack's surveys and reviews are pretty good on them.

Personally, I like the first one. Always have been a fan of split-spoke rims though. As for tires, I've heard good things about Kumho. I went with Sumitomo HTR+ to replace the Dunlop 9000's that came on my car, and I've been very happy with them.

One thing I just remembered, is that all those indentations on the second one may be a pain to clean brake dust and dirt out of. It takes extra time just to clean those triangular indents on the stock 16s I have. The first would be easier to clean. Plus I like the polished lip. I'm trying to find some pics of Vibes with wheels similar to them. I thought I've seen some on here some where. I'm searching.

Well, I just thought about these: They are five spoked like I originally wanted. Hmmm...decisions decisions.

I like #1, but they are very similar to my design. Wrong color, though...

Go with #1. Those look better than your other two considerations. And thanks for the compliment!

Go with the first or the third. I'd rather have the third one personally, but I love 5 spoke wheels. Nothing against the split spoke wheels because they also look good, but I prefer the solids! Any of them will look good on your Vibe!

Has anyone with heavier 18" wheels noticed a decrease in gas mileage or power? For example, some wheels I'm looking at are 19-20lbs and then some are around 25-26lbs. Do you think there will be a noticeable difference? Thanks,

I had the factory 17" wheels and went to Centerlines and lost 13 lbs. /wheel. Yes you can feel the differance. Weight is a bad thing !

Shibaman, how much did the stock 17s weigh? Anyone know about the 16s? Is a 25lb wheel heavy or average? Thanks,

Really? So, I should not be concerned about 25lb 18" wheels? I think I know which ones I'm going to get. Later,

I think that they were 26 or 27 lbs. The oem 16 s are around 21 lbs?

I like #3. I like a polished lip with solid 5 spokes on a Vibe. I also don't like open lug holes but I'm biased. Here's the best I could do at night without moving my cars.
