Amsoil. Who's using it?

I'm thinking about switching to Amsoil shortly. I was going to use the 100% synthetic, which they claim you can run it for 25,000 miles or 1 year, if you change the filter at normal times. I was just going to change it with a good store bought filter like a WIX, every 5k miles or so.Is anyone running this stuff? Do you let it go that long?Going to wait awhile to change the tranny fluid though.

I have amsoil but i'm gonna change it after 10k.

I to am running ansoil, I love it personally I feel that my car is running a whole lot smoother than before. I going to be changing the filter here this weekend for the first time. I've check the color of the oil and level everything looks okay after 7,500 miles or so. Hope this helps

how do you change the filter without draining the oil? When ever I take off my filter, oil comes out. Am I missing something here?

oil comes out of the filter a little bit, you are supposed to top off after you do the amisol filter thing.....

Thanks for the opinions. I think I'll wait to get a few miles on it, then try the Amsoil.
