2005 Xterra

I like how Nissan is pushing the HP Barrier. I wonder how they are gonna upgrade the 350Z for the near future? *4.0 liter, V6, 250 HP Engine STOCK * 6-speed manual * dana Solid Axle in the Rear * expected price in mid $20K's, $30 fully loaded. Pictures:

Not bad, but for HP I'd take the '05 Grand Cherokee with Dodge's V8 Hemi in it. 325 HP in this version, and it should move the GC rather well! The Xterra isn't bad, but the overall design is getting a little long in the toothe. I would have expected something that doesn't look nearly identical to the last Xterra for a full redesign.

So, the xterra is now going to be bigger? I wonder if that means Nissan will be planning to release something new and bit smaller to fit the gap that the old xterra left? Kind of like what Hyundai is doing with the new Santa Fe and the entirley new Tuscon?
