New HU vs. Warranty?

I'm thinking of swapping out the Vibe's Moon and Tunes HU for a new one and had a couple of questions:1. What is the warranty's tolerance for such changes? I've head that dealers will blame any electrical damage on an aftermarket HU? Is this true? I know it's not quite the same thing but this seems like Dell refusing to honor a warranty after you nstaleld new RAM.2. Any recommendations for HUs that have a mini-stereo (headphone) or stereo RCA in so I could easily connect an iPod?3. Have seen many kudos about the "step by step" instructions that newbies like me have used to do the install in about 90 minutes. Could someone please provide links to those threads? Thanks!Loving my one-day-old Vibe (even though it's now worth about $2K less. Ha!).

1) Dunno, don't see how they could blame it on that. You can call them on it if they try to BS you. Make sure you get wiring harnesses from Circuit City or something (especially Circuit City, it's all plug-n-play, no "wiring" really needed)2) Pioneers are great, you need an add-on $30 part for aux-in. Some higher-end Sony also have Aux-in. Stay away from JVC, and I don't personally like Kenwood, but it's up to you. Pioneer is definitely the most bang-for-the buck though.3) I'm too lazy to search, but someone will post it in my stead. Other than that, feel free to send an IM to either myself or ragingfish.Note: The Moon&Tunes aftermarket headunit swap IS associated with a few problems that we're still trying to work out. The M&T amp has some odd issues with aftermarket radios. You can bypass the amp, but it'll take a little bit of wiring at the connectors beneath the seat. Most of it can be done with t-taps and the like, and we can tell you which wires go where.Try going to your local CC, as they'll probably have a lot of open-box stuff. Feel free to post up any questions you have, or let us know before you buy, and we'll give you our thoughts on what you're looking at.Welcome to GenVibe!
