Has anyone managed to blow the breaker for the outlet yet?? Last weekend on my trip to Halifax I had a 14 Inch TV, DVD Player, VCR, laptop and my cell phone charger plugged in and it never blew. I figured all those devices had to be well over 100 watts

The power outlet was a bad bad bad bad idea. I noticed at a fellow vibe owner the other day during rush hour and she almost ran a car off the road. She was watching a TV on the passenger seat. If you want a power outlet, you can buy a good inverter pretty cheap that works better. Now all these simpletons are going to ruin it for the rest of us. Just like cell phones.

Its not that the outlet is a bad idea........ some people will just use it irresponsibly. I personally love it. Anything thats going to keep my kids from complaining on long trips is definately worth it!!

I was taking home a big room air purifier and decided to plug it in. It worked to my astonishment.

I think they have way underrated the amount of wattage the outlet will deliver. If I added up all the wattage of the items I had plugged in and in use at the same time it was 170 watts.

Rated wattage and actual draw are two different things, while you may have had a potential of 170 watts I doubt you hit half that at any given moment.Larry

Hey Vibe-erator how did you plug all this item at the same time ? Did you use a extension with 3 or 4 plugs on it ? On Hallowween a plan to put some pumpkin's light on my rear windows !... I'm anxious to see the result !!

I used 2 of the cheap dollar store extension cords, one plugged into the other one.
