Long time reader first time poster,Ive been driving my Vibe Neptune base for about a month now and have no complaints.Im just wondering has anyone replaced or covered the exhaust tip, I don’t like the look of the factory exhaust and wouldn’t mind getting something of the same size but maybe in stainless steel so it look little sharper. Any ideas suggestions? and im also thinking of getting a better tint down the line. --v.

The link below is a tip you can install on your Vibe and it'll increase your low end torque also. I plan on doing this mod soon.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=310

Borla makes an exhaust tip for the Matrix. I would assume it would fit on the Vibe. Toyotaparts4u.com has good prices.

The http://www.edmunds.com web site shows a stainless steel exhaust tip as a factory option for the Vibe. RPO code is "NBG" or something like that. Does anyone have a Vibe with this option, and can you comment? - Earl

At least mine appears to be stainless.

I saw the optional exhaust tip on one of the Vibes at the Pontiac dealer in Glen Burnie, MD, about six weeks ago. It looks OK from the side (nice diameter, polished), but from the back, it's kind of hokey. There's an inner tube that grabs the outside of the stock outlet, radial springs that give it grip, and the outer polished shell. You see it from the back and you just know that the car doesn't have a 3" pipe all the way back to the engine. It really looks like an add on.BTW, it was on the factory window sticker, just like the cargo mats and bumper protecters. I think it went for about $65.
