700 lb swingset in my Vibe

I just brought home this swingset tonight. I didn't think it was gonna fit, but we made it work This swingset is listed as 704 lbs, and comes with a 10.5 ft slide. My rear wheels were inside the fenderwell...thank goodness I only have 225's...there was not much room to spare in there!

Want a low rider without paying for all that costly spring work? Just load the babe down with everything you got!heh Nice car, and I am sure the swingset will be enjoyed.

Ooooww....that looks painful! I work for Kroger's and during the summer time we sell patio sets, summer furniture, etc. and I can easily say that if I had to look your car, that would take the cake!

GREAT PHOTOS!The cargo carrying capacity of a base Vibe with factory 16" wheels is listed at about 850 pounds, including passengers. I'll bet you were uncomfortably close if not a bit over.I'm sure you've seen that picture of a VW Jetta with all the building materials loaded on the roof that crushed the rear of the car and the suspension.Glad it worked OK.

Dont' care too much about the swingset (although it is great that it fit....I'm more interested in your Vibe. White and clean in March...uhm......how?

I didn't know the cargo capacity, but I knew it could tow 1500 lbs, so I figure that at least the engine/transmission would be okay. I did see that picture. Placing a pallette of lumber on your 100(?)lb rated roof is a far cry from what I did, though. I can't even imagine what that guy was thinking.
