21.5 weeks later, the keys are at hand. My Humble Observations Awesome car! The same handling and manoeverability of my Honda's and Acura's plus quiet, smooth ride and a roomy interior. Better than I expected. Pleased the car is wearing Goodyears, haven't slid off course yet but I am still exploring its limits. The dealer (Dryden GM) was excellent under the circumstances, but were somewhat abused by GM by the lack of info about wait times and being hit with a $1000 price increase. Bad GM It will take a few weeks to get all the controls 2nd nature as the cruise, wipers, radio and heater are different from anything I have driven, but I am not that old yet, I will adapt! Thanks to all for posting all your questions and answers on the little quirks with the remote, locks, lights etc. My hatch is hard to close but I will try again with a door open (VW Beetle syndrome/Air pressure problem?)Anyway here is my photo evidence.

Its about time................enjoy. I went to Con for a year back in '79, and have been to T Bay a few times after that. Is the pic from the Terry Fox lookout..............Sleeping Giant behind the Vibe? Nice car.

Terry Fox isn't as good a place for shots like this since they moved his statue up the hill, still a pretty spot though.

Never see any Lada's for some reason

Frosty, congrats on your new Vibe. Thats a long wait (21.5 wks.).Nice pics, I like the second one. Never been to Thunder Bay, but to the north of you about 80k at Lake Nipigon. I go there the 2nd week in June every year for our summer fishing trip.

quote:How many "km" do you have put on your «brand new Frosty Vibe» this weekend?500km in two days! I picked it up 4 hours away at my sister's dealer so I got to know the car pretty good. However I took it to a parking lot before I went out of town (had to leave it behind and drive a f---in Tempo)and was very impressed with the steering response, lane change response and lateral G's with the base 16" Goodyears! The Grip with 17" and 18" summer radials must be sweet! Thanks all. I will fix up these pics and add more when I go on a road trip to theLake Superior Rally next month. Should find more pretty spots that could be improved with my car

Well we got to go on a road trip, 9 hour day, no problem! My bride has a bad back after that long in any car, we have to get an obus solution for her for the Vibe. What a fun car, the two lane roads in the Michigan Upper Peninsula are heaven. Very twisty. We went to the SCCA Lake Superior Pro Rally http://www.lsprorally.com/ & http://www.scca.org/amateur/performance_rally/ , they call it the nations oldest, toughest, meanest race. All back roads on gravel mostly, some tarmac, all fun! Here are some new pics of Frosty by Lake Superior. The shoreline is directly across the lake from our home town, but we took the road so it was 400 miles further than by boat. You can see I de-badged her and added a white graphic works sticker on the front emblem.
