I had a mini-meet today with a couple of other Matrix Owners. One has an automatic SC XR with an axel back exhaust. I have an automatic SC XR with the JP Performance header back exhaust, Aquamist water injection, Split Seonds a/f controller, and the TRD CAI. The owner of the other SC XR is planning on adding the same mods and wanted to see what the difference is. The first part of the video is with me vs. him starting from 40 mph. We also did a dead start run with the same result but didn't get it on tape. An XRS owner was there also and we got a couple of good runs in. He has an XRS 6-speed with a CAI and the Unichip. In the first run with him we went from about 30-40 mph up to a 100 mph. He started or was very close to being in lift. In the second run with him he didn't start in lift and it really shows the advantage the supercharger provides for daily driving. I wonder what would have happened if the SCXR that lost to Larry had gone up against the XRS that lost to Larry. It looked to me like Larry pullled harder on the SCXR than he did on the XRS at the start of lift. Jim

As always I love seeing thos vids. MAN I want a S/C... it looks and sounds so sweet.

wow! larry, your scxr would have done the same to my GT. I have the exact same mods as the XRS: CAI and Unichip. Still, i'm impressed the unichip and CAI did so well considering the SCXR has a bit more low end torque... you can def tell on the race from stand still vs in lift.
