I have a question for the men out here (and any of the ladies who might know).I have been on vacation the last several days and caught myself watching the last 30-minutes of Average Joe Hawaii. Of course, the girl was braindead and choose Mr. Airhead rather than the guy who was sincere, but that's not where I am going with this. She told Mr. Airhead that she had a secret to tell him. When she revealed that her secret was her ex-boyfriend was Fabio, the guy freaked out and left her. I personally don't groove to Fabio, but why did he react as if she had told him she had some weird disease? What is it about Fabio that makes men freak out? And if this has been previously discussed, sorry. I tried searching for it, but couldn't find it.

The "I can't believe its not butter?" guy?I would not have freaked out... I mean if she left him for a simple average guy like me, I'd feel honoured... I don't give a crap about Fabio... Fabi who?

who knows why that particular guy reacted that way. could have been that he felt that he was outclassed by her ex, and was embarrassed. Maybe he felt that if she was seriously interested in Fabio, then she had a distorted perspective and was not the kind of girl he wanted to be around. Maybe Fabio was his ex boyfriend also, and the coincidence was just more than he could deal with. Maybe he just didn't like her and was using it as an escape motive.I've never met Fabio, or actually paid any attention to him. If a woman goes after the supermodel lifestyle, men drool and dream. If a man goes after the supermodel lifestyle, he's creepy and shallow.

The entire time I read this (IOt's after 4 a.m,, and i've been drinking ) every time someon said "Fabio is so full of himself" I read it was "Fialchar is so full of himslf" (I apoligize for the typos, I'm tired and getting ready to sleeeeeep zZZzzZZzzzz)

If I remember correctly, it was a large bird. Eagle or falcon or something like that. He may have suffered a broken nose, or that may just be what I assumed at the time.

it was a goose. and no I wouldn't care if she dated Fabio. it would kind of be a compliment.

Nor would I have a problem with dating someone whose ex was Fabio. When I watched the show I kept waiting for his reasoning, but he never really explained why.It seems to me that it comes down to either of 2 things:1) we don't know the whole story; there is probably more to this that wasn't explained on TV, or2) and i hope this is not it.....they had offspring or something! (removed)! THEN I would be creeped out too!

The only problem I would have is if she compared all the time, like: "Well, FABIO got me a new car when WE were going out"
