Hello fellow Hawaii Vibers!Going to be in Hawaii ( sans my Vibe ) for a 10 day business trip on Sunday. I will have my afternoons and evenings free and wanted to know from the locals what are the places to see, restos to eat at stuff like that. Any and all help is appreciated!!

Are you going to different islands or just the main island? I'd say to go snorkeling at Captain Cooks cove...it's phenomenal.....

I am staying on the main island. I do have three whole days of just relaxation and my company put me up in a so so hotel: Ohana Maile Sky Court but hey its Hawaii I ain't complaining!

If you golf, go golfing...there's some phenomenal courses. Pearl Harbor's cool, not sure if it would affect you canadians like it did us.

definitely go to a luah of some sorts, snorkeling, and walking along the beaches! also, fun to try out body surfing or boogie boarding.

Hey Arcs, no real advice here but have as much fun as you can! A fellow coworker moved there last year - we don't like him now!

Thanks Nick and Hope and everyone else! I promise to take pictures when I am not working and I plan on doing some serious relaxing on the beach!

As Hope said, definately make sure to go to one of the Luah's, some of the larger hotels have them that you can go to for like, $50 My suggestion would be the island of Kuwaii (spelling?) it's the wettest island, and is like a gigantic jungle garden.

My wife is unable to get the time off for her to join me but I am bringing her to New Orleans with me this June

lol! that would be tons of fun, but i don't think i would qualify... perhaps if it involved the marketing side of finances, but not the bean counting itself! my ex-other mother is the controller for the anchorage visitors convention bureau here and she always travels to places everywhere! so, if you go to some of your conventions and you meet the rep from anchorage... don't mention me! lol
