If you mean the dealership took them off, then you might get a better response at the dealership?

The new 2004 front mudflaps won't be available for another 2-3 months. The rear ones are unchanged.

I'm glad I saw this post. I was going nuts trying to find the part # for the front mud flaps. Even the dealer didn't know what was going on.

I'm totally confused...I have the front guards p/n 12498056 and rear guards p/n 12498057installed on my '04 Vibe. Bought 'em back in March from GMPartsDirect.Com.

When I went to that site and looked for accessories for a 2004 the only splash guards listed were "Rear Set, Gray Grained Finish".When I look under 2003 both front and rears are listed.Do the front ones fit OK?

The front for 2003 will not fit on 2004 2 tone Vibe. The 2003 mud flap will only fit the 2004 mono-tone model as the cladding remain the same

Are you sure? The GM parts person I dealt with ordered the 03 front moulded mud guards, but the bolt holes don't line up (I have a 04 Monotone GT). Rear ones are available and only come in grey. I ordered a set 2 weeks ago.

All the bolt holes line up ok.

the front mudflaps don't fit the 2004 2-tone model year vibes due to the new lower side moldings. the monotones are unchanged and we still have to suffer the rock chips in our paint.

Tell me about it... the underside looks sandblasted. From previous discussions on this topic, the 04 front mudflaps should be out in May.

After reading all these posts about what will happen to my paint (Vibe is a week old!) I wish GM would start shipping these things ASAP. Spoke to another dealer today and they said probably June.
