Vibe got hit!

So, I'm sittin at a party right, just chillin. Havin fun with all my friends and family. When some off-duty cop comes to the door and says, someone's car got hit. Well, first instinct is to check if my car was okay or not. Well, I go out there and I don't see any cars with any damage. So I asked the cop, which car is it? He points towards my car. I'm like, damn man, better brace myself. So I walk over to my car and my whole right back side of my car is gone! I'm like, what the hell?! So, drunk driver hits my car, don't know who did it and I wish I did, wouldn't be anything left of him. I felt like a knife just stabbed me in the heart. Then out of rage, I kicked a pole, I bent it in. God, o well, at least there wasn't people in the car at the time. If anyone has any suggestions about where I should go, I am more than happy to read and check out the place.Inder Singh

Well, my car was giving me great luck, But would'ha gonna do?? My dad did the whole insurance complaint thing and everything, so it's all good. Well, I think that I mentioned this already, but the guy who came to the house was a cop, so he tried to chase down the guy, but I guess he lost him. So, yeah. It really ticked me off man, some Detroit drivers are idiots in these senses. I'll keep everyone posted, whoever may respond to this post. Inder Singh

Well hey, your car was parked, so I can't possibly fathom the companies finding you at fault!

O well, I jus mess the thing. Now I get to go to school in my brother's Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V(torque beast!).Inder Singh

First off...sorry man I feel your pain. How do you know it was a drunk? My truck was hit a run at the local old farts shopping lot, a white head just drove away after doing better than $3k damage to the whole pas. side. A couple days later I witness a hit and run at work , so I report the license no. of the lowlife. Well our security dept. tracked him down and it turns out to be the company safety inspectors! He had already fixed the damage (rear bumper) on the vehicle he was driving to cover his (removed).I do not understand why people do not take responsibility for their own actions, they think everything that happens is someone elses fault. What has changed our society to this selfish, irresponsible attitude? There I feel better after venting also...thanks.

Well, I was at a party when it happened. And after I went outside to see my car, I noticed a teen party goin on a block away. They were making so much noise too. I Detroit drivers. They're terrrible. Another way is that the part that got hit was facing the curb, so yeah.Inder Singh

I'm really sorry to hear about your Vibe, man. If you list the panels that need replacing, as well as the frame/other parts that are damage, I'll keep an eye out on ebay for any wrecked vibes. Also, try calling up every salvage yard in the phone book. There's a good chance you can get Vibe parts a LOT cheaper that way. (Instead of paying $7300 for a new engine, I paid $875 for one with 4 thousand something miles on it)
