interior door

i want to upgrade the door speakers and can not remove the door panels without a special tool for removal of the handal...can someone tell me the tools name so i can buy it or a method that doesnt involve this tool.base model 5 speed with manual windows not power. thanks

The door panel comes off without removing the handle.Unscrew the screw in the little cup/handle thingy that you pull on to close the door. Behind the door lever, there's a little flap. Stick a mini screwdriver and pop that. Then unscrew that. Then just yank, it'll come right off. No special tools needed.

thanks man i will give it a go.... if i do it right i will have saved 100 on installation for the speakers...thanks again

There is a clip on the underside of the window crank, if you dont take this clip off you will break your crank (I know from experience).

It's literally called a window-crank removal tool. You need to be careful with that clip, they're farily easy to break (and lose)It's evening..so i'm braindead..heh. But if you want a description on how to remove it (if you didn't figure it out by then), let me know.
